Terms & Conditions

ARKFEST 26 is open to currently enrolled students of any recognised educational institution. Participants must be at least 16 years of age. For team events (CodeSprint, BGMI, Free Fire), every team member must meet this requirement independently.

The Organisers reserve the right to request a valid student ID at any point during check-in or the event itself.

All registrations are processed through the portal. An account (email + OTP verification) is required. Event fees are displayed on each event page and in the checkout cart; the amount charged is always the server-side fee at the moment of order creation.

Payments are processed via Razorpay. The portal issues a confirmation and a QR ticket only after Razorpay confirms payment. The Organisers are not responsible for failed transactions caused by bank/payment-provider issues.

All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (₹). Applicable taxes or payment-gateway surcharges, if any, are included in the displayed price.

All registrations are non-refundable once a QR ticket has been issued. See the full Refund Policy for details.

Each event has its own rules published on its event page. Participants must read and follow those rules. The Organisers' decisions on scoring, judging, disqualification, and prize distribution are final.

Participants must behave respectfully towards fellow participants, organisers, faculty, and university property. The Organisers reserve the right to remove — without refund — anyone who engages in harassment, cheating, damage to property, or any behaviour that disrupts the event.

Participants retain ownership of any original work (code, designs, presentations) created during ARKFEST 26 events, including the CodeSprint hackathon.

By participating, you grant the Organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to photograph, film, and share your work and likeness for promotional purposes (social media, website, brochures). This licence does not transfer ownership.

Prize amounts and goodies are as listed on each event page and in the ARKFEST 26 brochure. Google-branded certificates (powered by GDG on Campus SAGE University) are issued to confirmed participants who attend on the day.

Google Certification Terms & Conditions: Where “Google Certification*” is mentioned, it includes certification from GDG (Google Developer Groups). Issuance is strictly subject to verified attendance, active participation, and completion of all required event sessions or problem statement submissions. Terms & Conditions apply.

Prizes are subject to winner verification (identity, eligibility). The Organisers may substitute prizes of equal or greater value at their discretion.

ARKFEST 26 is held on the SAGE University campus. The Organisers take reasonable precautions for participant safety but are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.

Participants attend at their own risk. The Organisers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from event participation or use of the portal.

The Organisers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, venues, rules, or prize pool due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a full cancellation of ARKFEST 26 by the Organisers, registered participants will receive a full refund — this is the only exception to the no-refund policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or ARKFEST 26 participation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
